HOW TO SELECT AN ATTORNEY?

Selecting an attorney for your family law matter is a difficult process. You must feel comfortable with the attorney and insure that the attorney has experience. You should select an attorney that is honest with you from the very beginning. Some clients will select an attorney because the attorney tells them what they want to hear. These are the same clients who slam out of the court house, mad as hell, because they were not expecting the court’s ruling.

I believe in being honest with my clients, sometimes brutally, because I want that client to have a reasonable expectation of what will happen in court. No attorney can predict 100% what the court will rule. There are obvious times when it is really a close issue or a novel issue and the court is called upon to make the decision. If this is the case you want an attorney who is respected and known by the Family Court judges.

I invite you to schedule a "free consolation" with me to discuss your issues. I sit as a settlement judge in the San Diego Family Law Court and am known as fair, reasonable and a knowledgeable attorney.

I am not the cheapest attorney in San Diego, however, I will work with you as much as possible to enable you to retain my services. I can’t tell you how many times, at the end of the case, my fees have totaled far less, sometimes one-half the amount charged by the attorney representing the other side. The "bottom line" is what is important.
