Dealing with collection attorneys can be a daunting task. Some, not all, collection attorneys will not return your phone calls, will be condescending if they do call back, or will be rude on the phone. Talking with an attorney can be intimidating for any consumer, but the experience can be worse when dealing with a collection attorney. They may ask questions or ask for personal information that is designed to make their collection attempts easier. You may unknowingly give them information about your assets you are not required to give them prior to them obtaining a judgment against you.
